Citizens of the Internet, We are Anonymous.

Over the last few days and weeks it has become clear that a dark presence is haunting our I R C servers. Such a presence seeks to divide brother from brother in the heat of battle by generating lies and by playing one Anon against the other. We will not proceed to indulge in rumours or conspiracy theories: for to do so would be to consent to the whims of an unnamed detractor. But it is the place to say, now, that Anonymous WILL NOT stand for what it perceives to be as an attack upon the collective. We are here today to clarify once and for all, the following:

1. In an effort to sow dissension among the ranks of anonymous, we have taken note of a series of tweets claiming that one of our members, known only as hypotenuse, is a double agent. These rumours are false. Unfortunately, this lie was apparently started by a tweeter claiming to be a representative of Anonymous: AnonyOps. We ask today that AnonyOps claim responsibility for this imputent lie by addressing his sincere apology in the I R C to all who have been affected including hypotenuse.

2. Another malignant rumour concerns the identity of TheAnonMessage. Word has been going around that the channel is run by a quote: COINTELPRO agent. This is false. It is but a strategy designed to both deface the identity of the channel and diminish its ability to provide sound operational information. Hypotenuse has also had to suffer the same ignominy. We resent this challenge and we refuse to grant credence to the charges set forth. No evidence exists that proves this evidently propagandistic line of argument. Everyone has the right to speak their free mind, but when it comes to calling TheAnonMessage or hypotenuse or anyone else a COINTELPRO agent without SOLID evidence---this is unacceptable. A mere paste bin is not evidence.

Anonymous is united as one, divided by zero. Although that is true, we are not super beiings. We are humans. We also make mistakes. But we will not stand by and let our collective crumble because of lies and deceit.

A Message to Members of the The Cassiopaean Experiment

Hello members of the Cassiopaean Experiment and the Quantum Future Project . We are Anonymous and we have been watching you.

We have not been watching long. Admittedly our attention has been drawn to more urgent issues. But the time may come that our attention will be more focused on you. It has not escaped us that your actions as a group bear disturbing parallels to those of the Church of Scientology. Your leader Laura Knight Jadzyck has created an organization where she has disturbing influence over vulnerable people who trust her to tell them what to do. More concerning, dissent and questioning appears to be silenced or vindictively punished as a Google search of Vincent Bridges will show.

These are not the actions of a healthy leader or a healthy group. These are the actions of a controlling abusive cult. A healthy group can tolerate not only disagreement, but also the fact that some members leave. A healthy leader does not encourage people to hound and harass former members. On the contrary a healthy leader tells their group they will not tolerate abusive actions in the name of the group. Laura instead approves of the harassment, misguidedly thinking she is protecting her lifestyle. In the short term, perhaps, but eventually it will become clear that this woman is not the savior of humanity and she has no special wisdom to impart. The Cassieopean Experiment and its various front groups, like all cults, exists not to help people as they say, but to pay for the founder's lifestyle.

It is not the beliefs that drive the Cassieopean Experiment that have us concerned, or the un orthodox means used to communicate with the supposed Cassiopeians. This falls under freedom of belief. The problem is when these beliefs are used as weapons to manipulate, frighten and intimidate members.

We have been down this road before. At first L.Ron Hubbard was a guy with strange ideas. No one saw the controlling toxic organization the Church of Scientology would become until too late. But the signs where there, the lies, the harassment, the suicides, fair game. Then Lisa McPherson died. That was the beginning of the end for Scientology.

Hopefully one day we will not read about the death of any Cassiopaean Experiment members. But we cannot afford to wait around and hope. If nothing history shows organizations intent on controlling members every aspect of life inevitably become more abusive in their hunger for more power. This org may become a danger to members, their families and the public.

The flags are already there:

A history of violence in the leader.

A history of criminal actions and fraud in the name of the org.

Labeling of critics as subhuman, or Organic Portals, what the Scientologists call suppressive persons.

A policy of Fair Game, though it is unknown at this time if this is official policy or the typical reaction of a dictator lashing out.

Now is the time to gather information about the org and its founder. Now is the time to educate the public. Now is the time to warn members. Now is the time to finish this fight...if we're lucky, before it can start.

Anonymous calls for boycott of PayPal

Dear PayPal, its customers, and our friends around the globe,

This is an official communiqué from Anonymous and Lulz Security in the name of AntiSec.

In recent weeks, we've found ourselves outraged at the FBI's willingness to arrest and threaten those who are involved in ethical, modern cyber operations. Law enforcement continues to push its ridiculous rules upon us - Anonymous "suspects" may face a fine of up to 500,000 USD with the addition of 15 years' jailtime, all for taking part in a historical activist movement. Many of the already-apprehended Anons are being charged with taking part in DDoS attacks against corrupt and greedy organizations, such as PayPal.

What the FBI needs to learn is that there is a vast difference between adding one's voice to a chorus and digital sit-in with Low Orbit Ion Cannon, and controlling a large botnet of infected computers. And yet both of these are punishable with exactly the same fine and sentence.

In addition to this horrific law enforcement incompetence, PayPal continues to withhold funds from WikiLeaks, a beacon of truth in these dark times. By simply standing up for ourselves and uniting the people, PayPal still sees it fit to wash its hands of any blame, and instead encourages and assists law enforcement to hunt down participants in the AntiSec movement.

Quite simply, we, the people, are disgusted with these injustices. We will not sit down and let ourselves be trampled upon by any corporation or government. We are not scared of you, and that is something for you to be scared of. We are not the terrorists here: you are.

We encourage anyone using PayPal to immediately close their accounts and consider an alternative. The first step to being truly free is not putting one's trust into a company that freezes accounts when it feels like, or when it is pressured by the U.S. government. PayPal's willingness to fold to legislation should be proof enough that they don't deserve the customers they get. They do not deserve your business, and they do not deserve your respect.

Operation Turkey: Anonymous fights Internet censorship with DDoS success

Today, Thursday, the international Internet hactivist collective known as Anonymous launched a successful DDoS attack against the Turkish government, taking down several official government websites, including http://tib.gov.tr/ and www.­sgk.­gov.­tr.

Anonymous is protesting Internet censorship in Turkey. The Turkish government plans to implement a filter on Internet browsing on Aug. 22 under the pretense of protecting the youth from "harmful elements on the web." Critics argue that the filter will lead to wide-spread censorship.

The current Anonymous cyber attacks against the Turkish government consist of DDoS (distributed denial of service) attacks using a coordinated network of Low Orbit Ion Canons (LOICs). Such attacks are an orchestrated attempt to make a computer resource unavailable to its intended user.

The following is an excerpt from a video statement released Monday by those claiming to represent the nebulous collective known as Anonymous:

To the citizens of Turkey.

We are Anonymous.

Over the last few years, we have witnessed the censorship taken by the Turkish government, such as blocking YouTube, Rapidshare, Fileserve and thousands of other websites. Most recently, the government banned access to Google services.

These acts of censorship are inexcusable. The internet is a platform for freedom, a place where anyone and everyone can come together, discuss topics, and share information, without the fear of government interference.

We, Anonymous, will not stand by and let this go unnoticed. We will fight with the Turkish people against their government's rain of censorship.

Citizens of Turkey, Anonymous now fights with you.

While the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) of Turkey claims the proposed system of Internet filters is harmless, and will simply offer users more options, Anonymous and other concerned observers fear a much more draconian effect.

Last May tens of thousands Turkish citizens protested in Istanbul against the proposed Internet censorship. Anonymous and other critics worry the filtering system would make it possible to keep records of people's Internet activity and may be used as a means to prevent or halt possible political protest or dissidence.

A Message To Viacom from Anonymous

For years we have had to endure Viacom's attempts to strip away the basic rights of the individual. We have been silenced persistently, and consequently the free flow of information has been limited.


Thousands of people have undergone the unfortunate experience of receiving falsely-claimed copyright infringements. For far too long have we shared an enraged commonality in helplessly witnessing totalitarian-like actions taking place. The logging of millions of IP addresses and personal information extends beyond the domain of acceptability. When one's capitalistic agenda interferes with, exploits, and profits through infringing upon an individual's freedom, we, Anonymous, endorse the people's rights and hereby demand a refund.


After Viacom lost their lawsuit against YouTube, they continued to exploit YouTube for money. Viacom's justification of "creator's rights" seems only to mean making money for the sake of money. Their hypocritical action of uploading fake videos to YouTube in order to furnish their own court case is transparent:


"For years, Viacom continuously and secretly uploaded its content to YouTube, even while publicly complaining about its presence there. It hired no fewer than 18 different marketing agencies to upload its content to the site. It deliberately 'roughed up' the videos to make them look stolen or leaked." Anonymous demands from Viacom a public press release to admit and apologize for the fraud and crimes that they have commited. Anonymous also demands that Viacom allows everyone thoughout the internet full rights to be able to express themselves. This people simply had to leave their native countries because of suppression and misery.

This behaviour can no longer be tolerated. You have convicted yourself to many crimes against humanity.With this hypocritical attitude and your drive to become a mirror of your inspirational criminals, you have brought the attention of the collective known as Anonymous upon yourself.

In this case, this attention implies the taken of crucial actions against your actions.

The Sony PS3 console was "hacked" or more appropriately, jail broken, by iPhone hacker, Geohot. Anonymous managed to reverse engineer his own PlayStation 3 to run home brew applications on it.And then later released the method to the public, through his site, geohot.com

Sony hit Anonymous with a lawsuit and demanded social media sites, including YouTube to hand over IP addresses of people who visited Geohot's social pages/videos.Pay pal have granted access to Sony for them to view Geohot's Pay Pal account. The judge of the case has given permission to Sony to view the IP addresses of everyone who visited geohot.com Sony are also after another group of hackers for the same case.

The PS3 hack which GeoHot released can be compared to the "unlocking" of a phone. i.e. Once you purchase the phone, it's yours, you can do whatever it is you want with it.

Your recent legal actions against fellow internet citizens, GeoHot and Graf_Chokolo have been deemed an unforgivable offense against free speech and internet freedom, primary sources of free lulz (and you know how we feel about lulz.)

You have abused the judicial system in an attempt to censor information about how your products work.
