Anonymous Important Update of 17th October, 2011

"We will not stand by and let our collective crumble because of lies and deceit."

Please spread relentlessly.

TRANSCRIPT
___________

Citizens of the Internet, We are Anonymous.

Over the last few days and weeks it has become clear that a dark presence is haunting our I R C servers. Such a presence seeks to divide brother from brother in the heat of battle by generating lies and by playing one Anon against the other. We will not proceed to indulge in rumours or conspiracy theories: for to do so would be to consent to the whims of an unnamed detractor. But it is the place to say, now, that Anonymous WILL NOT stand for what it perceives to be as an attack upon the collective. We are here today to clarify once and for all, the following:

1. In an effort to sow dissension among the ranks of anonymous, we have taken note of a series of tweets claiming that one of our members, known only as hypotenuse, is a double agent. These rumours are false. Unfortunately, this lie was apparently started by a tweeter claiming to be a representative of Anonymous: AnonyOps. We ask today that AnonyOps claim responsibility for this imputent lie by addressing his sincere apology in the I R C to all who have been affected including hypotenuse.

2. Another malignant rumour concerns the identity of TheAnonMessage. Word has been going around that the channel is run by a quote: COINTELPRO agent. This is false. It is but a strategy designed to both deface the identity of the channel and diminish its ability to provide sound operational information. Hypotenuse has also had to suffer the same ignominy. We resent this challenge and we refuse to grant credence to the charges set forth. No evidence exists that proves this evidently propagandistic line of argument. Everyone has the right to speak their free mind, but when it comes to calling TheAnonMessage or hypotenuse or anyone else a COINTELPRO agent without SOLID evidence---this is unacceptable. A mere paste bin is not evidence.

Anonymous is united as one, divided by zero. Although that is true, we are not super beiings. We are humans. We also make mistakes. But we will not stand by and let our collective crumble because of lies and deceit.

We are Anonymous.
We are Legion.
We do not Forgive.
We do not Forget.
Expect us.

Anonymous - #OccupyWallStreet - Call to Action

Check out #InvadeWallStreet too!

Greetings, people of the world. We are Anonymous.

As many of you are aware, over the past several days, significant demonstrations have been held in protest of the corrupt financial system that favors the richest 1% of our nation; while the remaining 99% have to deal with things such as abuse of our civil rights, overseas outsourcing of our jobs, and living off minimum wage while gas hovers around $3.50 a gallon. The minimal attention given to these demonstrations has caused growing concern, with rumors of media blackouts and repealed news coverage becoming increasingly harder to deny.

We would like to thank those in our national media that chose to cover the truth about the events of the wall street occupation. Your contribution to society will not go unrecognized.

Unfortunately, this coverage has not been sufficient, we must now take efforts to spread the truth into our own hands. It is now up to us, the people of this great nation, to act for ourselves. We must share the truth through our social networks, by texting, instant/private messaging, posting, and blogging to our friends and relatives. We must take to the streets and speak of the truth in our coffee shops and mall outlets. Our voices will be heard.

Bloggers, dedicate your blogs to Occupy Wall Street,

Website owners, Write an article about Occupy Wall Street,

People in urban areas, Pass out and post up flyers about Occupy Wall Street,

Social network users, Flood your twitter accounts with OccupyWallStreet hashtags, post videos, articles, and any news about Occupy Wall Street.

Share this call to action, and encourage others to do the same.

To those currently occupying, stay strong, always know that you have our support.
We will not allow tyrannical police to oppress and bully you. Stay peaceful, stay vigilant, and know that you are making our nation proud.

To the police who wish to remain tyrannical, we will continue to show our support for the peaceful protesters. You will be exposed for the inhumane offences you commit, and everyone will know just who you are and what you have done. Your information will be posted everywhere and mirrored everywhere.

If you strip the freedom away from our peaceful protestors, then we shall strip your privacy away from you.

To the people of the world:

You are Anonymous.
You are Legion.
You are the media.
You are the voice of truth.
You can not forgive.
You can not forget.
They should expect us.

Anonymous Release Press Release for Operation Tarmageddon

undefined

Early in July, Anonymous said it planned to attack oil firms and banks supporting the controversial extraction of oil from sand in Alberta, Canada. Exxon Mobil, ConocoPhillips, Canadian Oil Sands, Imperial Oil, and the Royal Bank of Scotland have been put on notice that they are likely to be targeted in Anonymous' latest operation, dubbed Project Tarmageddon.

Complete Press Release :

Early in July, deep below the radar of the Tar Sands Oil Industry, Anonymous and GreenSec boarded the LulzSub and began a journey of environmental justice. This journey had only one endpoint: success. With all the attention Anonymous recently had received , a sub was the sure choice to ensure maximum impact and minimum damage to the fleet. When Big Brother watches, you go under the surface.

All July, we supported a protest against the Tar Sands oil industry, which ended in protesters dancing on the meeting table of the Governor of Montana. We networked like ants in the internets to get word out about this civil disobedience, and about the issue at hand. Anonymous, the world's greatest think tank, then spent weeks researching the corporations involved, uncovering mountains of email addresses and contact info for employees who work to destroy our planet for profit.

Anonymous then brought the LulzSub to the surface for air and snacks. We immediately caught wind of Tar Sands industry representatives creating fake Twitter and Facebook profiles to spread false enthusiasm about the proposed Keystone XL pipeline, we created an Orinoco Flow of facts and links, sustaining a week-long information campaign. We widely spread word of the upcoming Washington D.C. protests, where now, over 850 people have been arrested at the White House for peaceful sit-ins. By mirroring the actions of these "astroturfers" we hoped to provide a true counterpoint to the artificial hurrahs of the fake accounts.

Our beautiful journey has manifested into a full-on conquest to expose the corruption in the companies who plan to mine this oil and build the Keystone XL pipeline from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico. We will be releasing the ballast of hundreds of corporate emails that we have obtained from the servers of oil industry websites. We encourage people to write personal letters to these people, telling them what you think. The mailservers of Transcanada have been down for two days, and we will continue that fine tradition, hoping to show the world that business as usual stops when the security of the environment is concerned.

The recent release of Wikileaks cables put more raw crude in the tank of the LulzSub, as we continued our voyage. We have found cables that directly prove that Statoil corporation, a major player in the Tar Sands industry, has fired workers in Venezuela for their political leanings, in collusion with state-owned petroleum company PDVSA. Another cable shows that Statoil was paid far more in a compensation package from PDVSA than was reported in the press. Another quotes Canadian Environmental Minister Prentice in saying he is deeply concerned with the effect of the Tar Sands on the image of Canada. We are unearthing much in our deep-sea voyage

We stand in solidarity with the almost 900 brave and civil protesters who have been arrested in front of Obama's temporary home, the indigenous people of Canada, environmental groups around the world, and those of you who dream of new energy sources and a healthier environment.

Anonymous and GreenSec invite you to join us on our IRC Saturday September third, as we launch our own form of sit-in. We will join together to shut down the websites of Tar Sands corporations and oil lobbying firms. This is a non-violent form of dissent that, for us, waves a flag to others, saying "Here. Here is the problem".

As billionaires wage a war on the environment, Anonymous stands up with donated time and energy to make a stance before our chance is over. No one can be allowed to sacrifice the air, water, forests, and the health of world citizens for profit. The Earth is worth more than the organic matter we exploit from it. As the protest in Washington D.C. comes to its end, we shall step up and do our part.

There are many unknowns in the climate issue, many things yet to be understood. As for corporate corruption and the destruction of the natural environment in the pursuit of profit, it is everywhere, and that is well understood. Help us stop it.

Wikileaks cables:
Sincor Deputy General Manager Jane Nagy, a Statoil employee, in collusion with Venezuelan state-owned oil company, fires employees for political leanings in Venezuela:

Statoil recieves far larger compensatory payment from Venezuelan State-owned petroleum company for "its lost equity in the Sincor strategic association". Fallout from firings and Public lies from the Energy Minister of Venezuela regarding the payment.

Canadian Environmental Minister Prentice says "he would step in and regulate the sands if Canada/'s [sic] image in the world gets further tarnished by negative coverage."

Press release: Italian Anonymous

A few hours ago, the Italian police announced complaints, arrests and raids against a number of members of Italian anonymous.
The media has spread the news that the entire Italian network of anonymous has been dismantled and the “leader’s” of Italian anonymous was arrested.

Anonymous denies these media reports an reiterates that this is impossible: Anonymous is not been dismantled. Anonymous has no leaders, no structure. All anonymous members operate at the same level. Those arrested are not “dangerous hackers”as the media calls them, but people like you. They have been arrested while peacefully protesting for there and your rights. Our protest will continue louder than ever.

The Italian Anonymous have not fallen because of this cowardly attempt to dismantle them and announce consequences for there actions taken by the police, to demonstrate that anonymous is present and fights on, like it did in the past and will in the future, for the freedom of the internet. Italy anonymous calls all citizens of the internet and the international anonymous: We need you! Let them have it, stronger than ever.

Operation #Orlando >> Press Release & Public Info

Operation Orlando is an operation by Anonymous against Orlando,FL for arresting Food for bomb supporters for feeding homeless people in a area that’s controlled by a city permit.

The group Food not Bombs has been feeding homeless people within Orlando city where the area that this permit covers is the greater town center district, this area has a high rate of homeless people. The law which was passed 6th July 2010 by the city states that any person found feeding groups of 25 or more without the correct permit, shall be arrested and jailed.
undefined
The problem with this permit, besides being a permit is that you may only apply for 2 permits a year which restricts the amount of “legal” food supply they can do for the homeless.

A full copy of the draft can be see here

In the draft u can see it states a full 2 mile radius around town hall is where people can not feed the homeless, and i have confirmed it that this area has a high rate of homeless people seeking shelter, warm places to sleep and food to eat.

Orlando city has been under cyber attacks by Anonymous putting websites offline for hours at a time, in a earlier interview with the examiner.com an Anonymous user stated :

We messed up the mayors campaign site so bad it croaked, and I would point out we kept the pigs web site down most of the day.

Operation Orlando has been targeting Orlando city politics in one of the latest big operations that anonymous has taken out. These take downs include hours of downtime where some of Orlando’s city’s important computer networks are unreachable due to attacks. These attacks are not just direct ddos attacks with other methods being used as well.

Over the social networks there has been massive support shown for this and pretty firm statements from OpOrlando2011 that this will continue until the the law changes and Food for Bombs supporters are not arrested for feeding the homeless.

In a press statement by Anonymous to the media it states that Anonymous does not stand by Food for bombs nor the city of Orlando, that they stand next to the hungry.

Anonymous Press Release - 2nd February 2011

Sisters and Brothers in Tahrir Square,

Sisters and Brothers of Egypt.

We wish we could be there with you and everywhere else where human beings are faced with repression, fear, violence and suffering at the hands of their governments. Our thoughts, prayers, and minds are with you. The courage you demonstrate in your struggle is a lesson to us all. The world is behind you. Whilst we cannot be with you in the flesh and blood to suffer as you do, we want to make sure you know that you are not alone.

Rest assured your fight is not in vain. Your President has shown the world his true face today. President Mubarak might have his law behind him, but there is something above all laws: Truth. Your truth has been suppressed for far too long, beaten into the ground through the use of secret police, torture, and many similarly deplorable tactics that we are witnessing today at the Tahrir Square and all over Egypt. But nothing can quell your voice, not any more, and certainly not Mubarak and his gang for hire.

You demonstrated your power today standing your ground against the thugs of Mubarak. Of course, you don't know what the future will be, but you know what it should be. You demonstrated your resolve in Tahrir square and in all the streets of Egypt, and if you were able to stand your ground today you will be able to stand your ground tomorrow, and the day after that. On Friday you will march, and there will be no one able to stop you. As you stand united, you are sending a message to all who would seek to rob your country through corruption.

The rest of the world follows the events in Egypt with great hope. The Arab world is showing all citizens the strength and the value of what Mankind really is about. While our governments hesitate to show solid support for your actions, know that your sisters and brothers in the digital world stand beside you in that square. We will never leave you behind, we are here for you.

Your voice is being heard. Today you are not only fighting for Egypt. You are fighting for all of Mankind. And Mankind sides with you. We are you, you are us. Together we are Anonymous.

Yours faithfully,
Anonymous
We are Anonymous.
We are Legion.
We do not forgive.
We do not forget.
We love you.

ANON OPS: A Press Release

Who is Anonymous?
In their most recent public statement, WikiLeaks is the only group of people to identify Anonymous
correctly. Anonymous is not a group, but rather an Internet gathering.
Both Anonymous and the media that is covering it are aware of the percieved dissent between
individuals in the gathering. This does not, however, mean that the command structure of
Anonymous is failing for a simple reason: Anonymous has a very loose and decentralized command
structure that operates on ideas rather than directives.
We do not believe that a similar movement exists in the world today and as such we have to learn
by trial and error. We are now in the process of better communicating some core values to the
individual atoms that comprise Anonymous - we also want to take this opportunity to communicate
a message to the media, so that the average Internet Citizen can get to know who we are and what
we represent.
Anonymous is not a group of hackers. We are average Interent Citizens ourselves and our
motivation is a collective sense of being fed up with all the minor and major injustices we witness
every day.
We do not want to steal your personal information or credit card numbers. We also do not seek to
attack critical infrastructure of companies such as Mastercard, Visa, PayPal or Amazon. Our current
goal is to raise awareness about WikiLeaks and the underhanded methods employed by the above
companies to impair WikiLeaks' ability to function.

What is Operation: Payback
As stated above, the point of Operation: Payback was never to target critical infrastructure of any of
the companies or organizations affected. Rather than doing that, we focused on their corporate
websites, which is to say, their online "public face". It is a symbolic action - as blogger and
academic Evgeny Morozov put it, a legitimate expression of dissent.
The background to the attacks on PayPal and the calls to attack Amazon.com
Amazon, which was until recently WikiLeaks' DNS provider, was one of the first companies to drop
support for WikiLeaks. On December 9th, BusinessInsider.com reported that Amazon.co.uk were
hosting the recently leaked diplomatic cables in e-book form. (Amazon.co.uk has since ceased
selling the bundle of the diplomatic cables.)
After this piece of news circulated, parts of Anonymous on Twitter asked for Amazon.com to be
targetted. The attack never occured.

While it is indeed possible that Anonymous may not have been able to take Amazon.com down in a
DDoS attack, this is not the only reason the attack never occured. After the attack was so advertised
in the media, we felt that it would affect people such as consumers in a negative way and make
them feel threatened by Anonymous. Simply put, attacking a major online retailer when people are
buying presents for their loved ones, would be in bad taste.
The continuing attacks on PayPal are already tested and preferable: while not damaging their ability
to process payments, they are successful in slowing their network down just enough for people to
notice and thus, we achieve our goal of raising awareness.
