As we previously reported, Anonymous the famous online hacker group has announced that they will destroy Facebook on November 5th. So what should we do to protect our profiles? Check the answer after the jump.
Although the success of the attack isn’t confirmed but we shouldn’t overlook it. So the safest way to preserve your profile data is to store it on your Hard Drive. And here’s how to do it.
Step 1: On your Facebook profile go to Account then select Account Settings
Step 2: Hit Download a copy
Step 3: You will receive an email from Facebook within a few hours telling you that your profile data is ready to be downloaded.
Step 4: After receiving the email, Repeat step 1 and 2 then you will see the page below.
Step 5: Just enter your password and download your profile data.
You should download a copy of the profile data every now and then to keep your backup copy up to date.
